Shameika Bolden is the owner of Bold and Beautiful Hair Salon. She is also a licensed Cosmetologist, certified Functional Trichologist, and Holistic Health Practitioner with more than two decades of experience in the beauty industry.

Shameika believes that healthy hair is a reflection of overall well-being and guides women through a supportive approach to understanding and improving their hair and scalp health.

Her passion for hair loss and scalp health was shaped not only by years of observing how lifestyle, stress, hormones, and internal imbalance influence hair behavior, but also through her own personal experience with hair loss. That experience sparked a deeper journey into understanding the connection between hair and health, and the realization that healthy hair growth is often a reflection of what the body can support internally. It led her to study beyond traditional cosmetology and expand into functional trichology and holistic health to better understand the patterns connected to thinning, shedding, and scalp dysfunction.

Her work centers on helping women uncover the connection between their hair concerns and their overall health. Through an education-based approach, she interprets what the hair and scalp may be signaling about internal strain while helping clients develop greater awareness of their body’s communication.

Shameika is known for her thoughtful guidance, honest education, and welcoming approach that helps women feel seen, supported, and more confident in their hair and health journey. She works with women both virtually and in person, providing individualized support for hair loss, scalp concerns, and overall hair wellness.
